05-23 INT’L container Sent a container to Nicaragua. Also sent computers to our five computer classes, as well as handbags, purses, toys, school supplies, clothing, diapers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, fabric, ceramic gift items and soccer balls.
06-06 INT’L container Sent a container to Honduras with toys, school supplies, shoes, swim suits, soccer balls, handbags, purses and ceramic gift items.
06-10 Domestic distribution Distributed rice to local homeless families
06-13 INT’L container Sent a container to St. Lucia with men’s walking shoes, toys, clothing, lady’s purses, women’s accessories, fabric, handbags, school supplies, pens, women’s shoes, ceramic candle holders, plates and soccer balls.
06-20 INT’L container Sent a container to St. Kitts with soccer balls, kids clothing, pens, duffel bags, luggage, cargo pants, toys, summer shoes, sandals, men’s walking boots, lady’s shoes.
06-21 Domestic distribution Delivered to local homeless-families shelter two pallets of coffee drinks.
07-25 INT’L container Sent container to Panama for the First Lady to help her country’s minority people. The shipment included shoes, handbags, luggage, pillows, school supplies and children’s toys.
08-03 Domestic distribution Participated in a distribution in Long Beach to low-income families at their annual Good Health Fair
08-15 INT’L container Loaded a container for South Africa with school supplies, clothing, housewares, bikes, toys and other needed supplies.
08-23 Domestic distribution Donated to the back-to-school program for homeless single-mother program “Project Fresh Start”, and gave their kids school supplies, t-shirts, pants and socks
08-31 reward SimplyHelp received recognitions and an award from the Taiwan Foreign Ministry.
10-03 INT’L container We sent a container to our Simplyhelp Homeless Senior Center in El Salvador. This was a large 40-foot container, with a total of 860 boxes of supplies.
10-07 INT’L container Loaded a container for Honduras with food, rice and suitcases. This container was from our New Jersey warehouse.
10-29 INT’L distribution Ten volunteers travelled to El Salvador for charity distributions. We visited our vocational school and SimplyHelp’s Homeless Senior Centers. We distributed a container with washing machines, wheelchairs, tables, chairs medicine, and other needed supplies. Total value of the goods was $90,440.
11-14 Domestic distribution Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless. We served about 500 homeless at this dinner. We brought clothing, shampoo, jackets, food, blankets and shoes. The turkey dinner was served by our volunteers
12-16 INT’L container Loaded a container for El Salvador from our New Jersey warehouse, which included 974 suitcases
12-19 Domestic distribution Christmas distribution to about 2500 low-income families, including about 1500 children. This takes place yearly at the Los Angeles Arboretum, and we work with Foodbank Foothill Unity. We prepare Christmas gifts for them.
12-23 Domestic distribution We delivered Christmas gifts for single mothers with families. The “Project Fresh Start” involves about 60 to 70 children. We brought toys, hats, scarves and a pizza lunch to spend a great Holiday with them.
