Mission
To relieve poverty by providing emergency disaster relief, vocational training, and shelter and care for the homeless elderly.

Purpose
We work to empower people living in poverty so they can sustain themselves and their families in their own environment.

Highlights From Many Years Of Service

26,000 People Have Learned a Valuable Job Skill
SimplyHelp set up 26 schools and vocational training centers in Central America and Asia, resulting in over 26,000 graduates.

Homeless Elderly Have Found a Safe and Loving Home
SimplyHelp built 5 homes for homeless elderly in El Salvador and Panama.
Homeless elderly persons living on the streets are brought to SimplyHelp’s senior center homes where they are provided with a safe place to live, 3 nutritious meals a day, health care, fun activities and lots of love.

Thousands and Thousands of People In Need Have Received Donations
SimplyHelp has distributed over 400 containers (includes 100+ truck loaded) filled with supplies to countries stricken by natural disasters and poverty. Thousands of men, women and children in need all over the world have received food, medicine, clothing, toys, school supplies and more from SimplyHelp.

SimplyHelp Has Been Supported by the United Nations
SimplyHelp received special consultative status from the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations in 2005. ECOSOC consults with nonprofit organizations from around the world to get a unique and detailed picture of what’s happening‘on the ground around the world.

SimplyHelp Has Hosted Workshops at the United Nations
SimplyHelp has provided nonprofit organizations, academic institutions and corporations with interesting and informative workshops at United Nations conferences throughout the years. These workshops focused on a variety of topics – from ‘Best Practice in Women’s Empowerment’ to ‘Improving Global Health through Education of Mothers’ – and featured four panel speakers who were experts on the respective topics from around the world.

Youth Ambassadors Have Received Leadership Training
SimplyHelp has given young people the opportunity to attend United Nations conferences and to participate in SimplyHelp’s workshops. Many of these ‘youth ambassadors’ have performed dances, played music, or given speeches at the workshops that have been inspired by the workshop topic.

Holiday Gifts Have Been Distributed to Thousands of Poor Families
SimplyHelp has distributed annual holiday gifts to thousands of homeless individuals and families living below the poverty line in Los Angeles County.

SimplyHelp Has Built Partnerships Around the World
SimplyHelp has developed strong partnerships with the United Nations, First Lady of Nicaragua, former First Lady of El Salvador, Minister of Foreign Affairs in Cambodia, Los Angeles County and Lehigh University. Domestically and internationally, SimplyHelp works closely with local nonprofit organizations, churches and governments to ensure the success and sustainability of its projects.

Affiliations

United Nations
The SimplyHelp Foundation obtained Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 2005. This means that the UN ECOSOC has opened the door for consultation with SimplyHelp.

Every year, representatives of the SimplyHelp Foundation attend UN conferences. Twice a year, the SimplyHelp Foundation selects young ambassadors to have the unique opportunity of attending the UN conferences in New York or abroad.
