On December 4, 2004 SimplyHelp utilized a monthly donation of 40 lbs. of food a month from Pilipino Charity Food Bank to prepare 400 sandwiches , drink, rice and clothes for Phillipine veterans of WWII. |

The soldiers, who had returned to United States after WWII, are lstill iving in poverty and have no legal status and no extended famiies. |
