Dear All, Tina Bow ** Volunteers Needed! *** We need volunteers for coming up event on December 22nd. If you are able to volunteer at our annual Christmas Distribution, please email Amy at amy@simplyhelp.org: Information: 213-626-7676 We will be distributing all the donated toys to children from low-income families on Monday the 22nd at the following event location: The Los Angeles Arboretum 301 N. Baldwin Ave Arcadia, Ca 91007 Date: December 22nd (Monday) First shift: 8am-12pm Second shift: 11:30am-4pm We need adult volunteers (college-age or older) for this event. This has been a very successful event for the last 7 years, and we know that it will be just as much fun this year. There will be approximately 1500 children at this event. Please RSVP to Amy at amy@simplyhelp.org or 626-641-2881 if you can help. ***A friendly reminder, during the event, there will be no promoting/discussion about business, religion, and politics. Thank you for your understanding and coorporation.*** We will be distributing at Pathways to Home Emergency Shelter at downtown LA. We will be distributing toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, socks, leggins, jackets, underwears… etc and serving Thanksgiving dinner. 1. Homeless shelter Distribution on 1/11/2014 from 2pm to 4pm!! Detail: Event: We will be visiting about 400 homeless people. We will be distributing toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, shavers, socks, leggins, jackets, underwears… etc. Time: 2pm to 4pm. Please arrive 15 min early for check in. Please email Amy amy@simplyhelp.org if you would like to join this event. NO WALK IN. ****************************************************************************** Reminder: Warehouse will be open on 1/12/2014. Details: Time: 2pm-4pm Volunteers and donation are welcome.
