Nobody Plans to Be Homeless – In Los Angeles County, there are over 16,500 people living in their vehicles each night. These vehicle dwellers represent over 25% of the population of people experiencing homelessness in LA County.<\/p>\n
Part 3: SimplyHelp continues to care for homeless at Safe Parking. We had an opportunity to visited 5 Safe Parking locations, and were able to provide power banks, KN95 masks, masks, flash lights, snacks, hygiene items, toiletry, socks…etc for the clients.<\/p>\n
Safe Parking refers to a night-time program for people who are experiencing homelessness and sleeping in their vehicles at night, providing a safe and stable place to park the vehicle, remain compliant with local laws, and have access to restroom facilities. <\/p>\n
Programs can help provide financial assistance services like smog check, auto repair, insurance, registration, driver’s license renewal, and move in assistance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
