救災工作

2008年地震
幫幫忙基金會為2008年的中國地震提供了緊急災難救援。根據數據顯示,此次地震為里氏7.9級，是中國近30年來最強烈的一次地震。

統計 (據官方政府資料):
死亡人數：超過69,000
失蹤：大約18,000
撤離：1千五百萬，包括５百萬無家可歸

地震襲擊的地區是在中國經濟崛起中很大程度上被忽視的區域。像四川省這樣的內陸地區，醫療保健非常差，繁華城市與艱難困苦的邊遠山區人民之間的日益加大的生活差距顯得更加突出。

幫幫忙基金會努力為受自然災害侵襲的民眾提供援助，使得他們能夠重新掌控自己的生活，給予他們希望，並使他們重獲尊嚴。

Educational Programs

SIMPLYHELP SCHOOLS IN CHINA

Simply Help has developed a school education program in mainland China. There are a lot of children living in extreme poverty in the remote areas of mainland China who are without school to attend.

SimplyHelp met with a government organization called Guangxi Foreign Capital Poverty Reduction Project Management Center. They have the same goals as we do and are willing to assist us in developing a program together, with several local volunteers to lend a helping hand. Our China branch was officially established in March, 2005.
