With your assistance, we are proud to announce that in 2014 we were able to ship a total of 14 containers valued at over $1,155,900.00 for humanitarian aid. We also continued to support and maintain six Senior Centers, and opened three more computer schools.
Summary of SimplyHelp 2014 Events:
1/11 Distributed toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, socks, jackets, and underwear to a Homeless Shelter in the City of Bell, aiding about 400 people.
1/16 Sent containers to Honduras, Dominican Republic for humanitarian needs. Donations included clothing, handbags, school supplies and shoes. Total valued at $203,220
1/16 Sent one container to Guatemala. Included clothing, handbags, school supplies and shoes. Valued at $29,810
2/1 Sent one container to El Salvador for our Homeless Shelter. Included furniture and blankets, clothing, wheelchairs, shoes, suitcases and handbags. Valued at $ 61,235
2/1 Sent one container Honduras Included clothing, handbags, school supplies and shoes. Valued at $84,600
2/1 Sent one container to El Salvador for our Vocational school. Included computers and school supplies, blankets, fabric, carpenter tools, shoes, suitcases and handbags. Valued at $ 24,691

2/21 Sent one container of humanitarian goods to Nicaragua. Included computers and handbags. We currently have five computer schools. We support them yearly by replacing older computers with new ones. Valued $ 33,600
3/10-3/14 Our United Nations representative participated in the CSW events.
4/24 New Jersey branch of SimplyHelp sent a container of rice and congee to Haiti. Valued $23,120
7/15 A container of humanitarian goods sent to Honduras with school supplies, medical equipment and canned food. Valued $210,793
6/29 Participated in the Long Beach Health Fair in order to distribute to low-income families. Donations included rice, instant noodles and canned food. Worked with Cambodian Community health professionals.
7/17 Traveled to Honduras for a distribution with the First Lady with three containers of toys, clothing, medical supplies, shoes, backpacks, suitcases, school supplies, blankets, rice and canned food, which were distributed to children and families.
7/21 Traveled to El Salvador for the Grand Opening of our Senior Center #5. Also distributed to 300 poor families living in the local neighborhood. We are also planning to set up three more computer classes.
7/21 SimplyHelp senior center No. 1,2,3,4 ,5 in El Salvador. Total we have adopted 100 seniors for care, food, and housing.
7/16 Sent a containers of goods to Honduras to help the poor people. Valued $242,024
8/30 Visited the Single Mother’s Homeless Shelter for their back-to-school program in Los Angeles. Distributed uniforms, backpacks, school supplies and food to 18 families.
10/8 A container of humanitarian goods sent to Honduras with school supplies, medical equipment and canned food. Valued $16,700
10/8 Sent one container Panama Included handbags, suitcases for storm victims.

11/16 Visited Pathways Homeless Shelter for Thanksgiving Holiday distribution. Brought turkey, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, winter jackets and women’s sweaters to 500 adult homeless.
11/22 New Jersey fundraising party collected donations for our El Salvador Homeless Shelter daily expenses. Raised $50,000.00!
12/19 Made a donation to a Church group in China who are working with a community center to provide aid to a Leper Colony of Seniors.
12/22 At our Christmas Holiday distribution we provided toys for 800 low-income families, serving approximately 1500 children.
12/23 Sent one container to El Salvador for our Homeless Shelter. Included, shoes, suitcases and handbags. Valued at $ 113,600
