Our organization participates in the Surplus Property Donation Program of the County of Los Angeles. 
Dear All:
As a result of completing our 2014 Tax Return, SimplyHelp has been able to calculate our administrative costs as a percentage of our charitable donations. If we count only our cash donations, we are at 6% expenses to donations. If we add in the value of all the goods donated from merchants, our administrative cost drops to only 1%. This efficiency can be matched by very few, if any, other charitable foundations, and is possible only because of our dedicated volunteers working hard toward helping others, with no desire for monetary compensation.
All donations made specifically to our Senior Center program are 100% dedicated to that program, and are not reduced by administrative costs. The same applies to all Disaster Relief donations, and donations made to our Education fund.
