Earthquake 2007
The SimplyHelp Foundation, together with the NGO ‘Un Techo para mi Pais’, built houses for the poor and the homeless after an earthquake in 2007 destroyed the homes of hundreds of Peruvians.

In August of 2007 an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.9 hit Peru. 519 people died and 1366 people were injured. In addition to the dead and injured, the Center of Emergency Operations of Civil Defense said that more than 16,500 people had been displaced or otherwise affected by the quake.
