2015 10/3 Announcing…
送物資到老人院的貨櫃
10月3日，今天我們順利的在El Monte偉博文化中心裝運出一個40呎貨櫃是給薩爾瓦多的老人院、在薩爾瓦多我們有五所老人院、長期的養100佰位無家可歸或是生病丶或是被家人遺棄社會遺忘的老人。
這個40呎的貨櫃包含了未來一年老人院需要的大部分物資，以及老人們大部分需要的器具。總共有860箱內含有輪椅，拐杖，尿布，廁所，助行器，床墊，床單，床罩，枕頭，毛巾，毯子，帽子，襪子，衣服，拖鞋，運動鞋，電視，電燈，收音機，電扇，洗衣機；刀叉杯盤，折疊桌椅，桌布，還有老人醫療用品，…等等包羅萬象，這些有物資有新的有舊的，所有的物質全部來自廠商或者是個人的愛心捐贈．幫幫忙在此要誠懇地對所有的每一位捐贈者致上最最大的感激再感激，幫幫忙沒有這一群愛心的贊助者及義工們絕對無法完成這些項目．就如同今天的上貨櫃過程中，有帶著妻子兒女來的，有帶著隔壁鄰居來的，有朋友結伴來的，有基督教和天主教的弟兄結伴來的，這些都讓我深深的感動，在此我也要深深地感謝這些義工們無私的奉獻他們的時間來幫忙．
今天货櫃物質价值在九万元.我們今年已經送了14 個貨櫃到非洲和拉丁美洲, 每個貨櫃价值在 8万元到200,000之間.

2015 10/3 Send supplies to the senior center container
Hello everyone,
October we are going to ship a container to our senior center in El Salvador, container loading date and time as follows:
Time: 10/3 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Location: 9639 Telstar Ave., El Monte, Owens Cultural Center
The senior center they will need the following supplies, so if your home has the following materials (both old and new) we will welcome to have in the day to collect and load containers.
* Requires: folding tables and chairs, lamps, fans *
Materials needed:
Room supplies: sheets, tarps Dian
Men and women’s clothes, walking shoes and belts, lotion, towels, bath towels, adult diapers, crutch, radio.
Kitchen: pots, cooking utensils, juice maker.
On Tableware: plate Dian Dian cutlery tablecloth.
2015 10/29 El Salvador大使館新聞
「幫幫忙基金會」鮑潘會長曉黛乙行6人，業已於本(104)年10月29日至11月3日順利訪薩。期間在本館李大使新穎陪同及妥善安排下，總計拜會薩副總統夫人Elda Gladis Tobar Ortiz及前總統 Calderón Sol夫人Doña Ely de Calderón，另該行亦赴該基金會歷年來協建之薩國Colon市第一、第二及第五老人中心、Cojutepeque市第三老人中心、Zaragoza市第四老人中心及拜會薩國La Libertad市市長Miguel Jiménez、Cólon市市長Guillermo Gonzalez、Zaragoza市市長Carlos Guevara、Cojutepeque市市長Rosa Serrano de Martínez及Monte San Juan市市長Hugo Juaréz等。
此次訪薩，幫幫忙基金會並在La Libertad、Cólon、Zaragoza、Cojutepeque市及Ely de Calderón主持薩爾瓦多社會計畫委員會(CPS)，分別進行每年舉辦之慈善救濟物資發放活動。此外，在薩副總統夫人(兼「薩爾瓦多兒童暨青少年發展局(ISNA)執行長」)Elda Gladis Tobar Ortiz邀請暨親自陪同下，特別參訪位於薩首都San Salvador市ISNA總部，及我援贈甫剛落成薩國「國家兒童暨青少年研究暨資訊中心」相關設施，並捐贈兒童暨青少年各類書包、行李袋、手提袋、廚具、盥洗等物資用品，雙方並對彼此未來可進一步加強合作等事項深入交換意見。

中華民國駐巴拿馬大使周麟於9月22日上午偕幫幫忙基金會(Simply Help)巴拿馬分會三位代表及駐巴拿馬大使館同仁，代幫幫忙基金會總部贈交一個貨櫃之各式生活用品，包括:女鞋、男士襯衫、兒童玩具、餐盤組及醫療用靠枕等給第一夫人辦公室，由社會推廣處長Milagros Velásquez女士代表接受。周大使在贈交儀式中致詞表示：幫幫忙基金會為旅居北美的台商企業所組成，多年前開始募集會員所生產的物品送往中華民國的友邦或友好國家轉贈當地弱勢團體。對於該基金會長期以來致力人道援助，傳播愛心，同時默默協助台灣增進國際友誼，表達敬佩與謝意。周大使又提到每當國際上發生天災時，中華民國的人道援助與愛心總是率先抵達災區，數月前巴國原民地區火災及一年多前巴國發生水災台灣政府立即提供具體援助，因此特別敦請V處長代為轉報目前在紐約即將參加聯合國婦女論壇會議的第一夫羅蕾娜，希望她能在會議中將中華民國多年來向巴國熱心提供人道援助的情形向國際社會作介紹。V處長則代表第一夫人羅蕾娜感謝幫幫忙基金會及中華民國政府長期以來對該辦公室的支持，並允諾將妥善運用此批援贈物資，以提供偏鄉居民使用等語。
2015 9/20 Potluck and El Salvador Container for 5 Seniors Centers
Dear All,
We will be having a potluck on Sunday, September 20th. I hope you can keep this date open, because it would be fun to see you all there! It will be from 10:30 am to 1pm at 9443 Telstar Ave in El Monte.
We will be sending a container to El Salvador for our Senior Centers there, We had a Grand Opening for Senior Center #5 in February of this year.
We now have a total of 100 seniors who have been “Adopted” by donors who have agreed to contribute $35 monthly in order to support their daily care. Thanks to all those who have made this program a success!
The needs that the Senior Center Managers communicated to me are for sheets, diapers, kitchenware, pots and pans, walkers, clothes, canes, walking shoes, belts for men and women and kitchen utensils. Please see what you can help with! We will be also collecting the donations on Sep 20th at potluck.
