Relief Work

The SimplyHelp Foundation donated a container with clothing, shoes, toys and other supplies to the Jammeh Foundation for Peace (JFP) in Gambia. SimplyHelp began its collaboration with the JFP in 2008.

 History
Gambia is among the poorest countries of the world, ranking 155th out of 177 countries in the 2007/2008 UNDP Human Development Index rankings (HDI measures of life expectancy, literacy, educational attainment, and GDP per capita). The poverty level in Gambia, according to the UNDP’s Human Poverty Index of 2004, was at 40.9% in 2004, with rural poverty slightly exceeding urban poverty rates.
