2013-02-04 Happy Lunar New Year!

SimplyHelp Foundation wishes you a Happy Lunar New Year for good health, prosperity, good fortune and success!!

Great News ~~ New location for donation drop off ~~ Starting this month, SimplyHelp will pick up donations at Cultural Center of Taipei Ecomonic and Cultural every 3rd Sunday from 12pm to 2pm in the parking lot.

Address: 9443 Telstar Ave. El Monte, CA 91731 (Parking Lot)

Time: 2/17 from 12pm to 2pm

Warehouse update:

1. Warehouse will be open on 2/17 from 3pm to 4pm for donation drop off only. No volunteers needed.

2. Warehouse will be open again on 2/24 from 2pm to 4pm. We will be packing and preparing a container for our senior centers. We need volunteers and also need lot of donations.

2013-01-29 Need Donations for 4th Senior Center

Upcoming activities for 2013:

1. SimplyHelp Foundation is preparing a container for our 4 senior centers by end of February. We are looking for donations that can help us to make this happen. We need walkers, wheelchairs, adult diapers, small appliances (working condition), pots, pans, kitchenwares, cups, can foods, clothes, shoes… etc, anything that can help our senior centers to be more comfortable. Please contact Amy at amy@simplyhelp.org or call 213-626-7676 for any questions.

2. We are planning to send out another container out to El Salvador in May. This container we are looking for are items that we can use for senior centers, working computers for computer school, items for our sewing class, items for our beauty classes, new clothes and shoes … etc. Please contact Amy for furthur questions.

3. We will be planning a container to Guatemala in September.

4. The warehouse will be open this Sunday, 2/3.

2013-01-12 SimplyHelp Seminar

SimplyHelp will be hosting its first seminar on 1/12. The seminar will be discussing about Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting incident. We have a panel of wonderful speakers who will be discussing and also providing useful resources. Please come and support our first seminar event.
