We need vounteers for coming up event on December 21st. If you are able to volunteer at our annual Christmas Distribution, please email Amy at amy@simplyhelp.org:

We will be distributing all the donated toys to children from low-income families on Saturday the 21st at the following event location:

The Los Angeles Arboretum

301 N. Baldwin Ave

Arcadia, Ca 91007

Date: December 21st (Saturday)

First shift: 9am-1pm

Second shift: 1pm-5pm (this is the busiest shift)

We need adult volunteers (college-age or older) for this event. This has been a very successful event for the last 6 years, and we know that it will be just as much fun this year. There will be approximately 2000 to 2500 children at this event.

This year we will be partnership with Ms. Karen Chen, the president of Global Federation of Chinese Business Women, and her association to distribute Christmas gifts on 21st.

1. SimplyHelp will be doing a low-income distribution at Cambodia Community in Long Beach on 8/10/2013. The event will start at 10am to 2pm (we should be finish around noon). We will be distributing rice, rice noodle, shirts, sandals… etc.

2. SimplyHelp is doing a BACK TO SCHOOL program with Foothill Unity Center for low-income children.This year, over 1,800 local K-12 students are expected to pour into Santa Anita Park racetrack for Back to School Distribution. With your help, we can make sure each one goes off to class with pride.

3. SimplyHelp Warehouse will be open on 8/11 and 8/25 from 2pm to 4pm. Donation and volunteers are welcome. We will be preparing a container for Guatemala.

4. SimplyHelp Monthly Get Together will be on 8/18 at Cultural Center from 11am to 1pm. We will be discussing about United Nations application process and also end of year events.

SimplyHelp is doing a distribution at Pathways to Home (homeless shelter) on 7/28/2013. We will be distributing toothpastes, shirts, underwear, shampoos, conditioners, soaps and also serving hot meals. We will meet at 3:30pm and start the distribution at 4pm.
