Expense Memo 2014

Dear All: As a result of completing our 2014 Tax Return, SimplyHelp has been able to calculate our administrative costs as a percentage of our charitable donations. If we count only our cash donations, we are at 6% expenses to donations. If we add in the value of all the goods donated from merchants, our administrative cost drops to only 1%. This efficiency can be matched by very few, if any, other charitable foundations, and is possible only because of our dedicated volunteers working hard toward helping others, with no desire for monetary compensation. All donations made specifically to our Senior Center program are 100% dedicated to that program, and are not reduced by administrative costs. The same applies to all Disaster Relief donations, and donations made to our Education fund. You can be confident that your donations to SimplyHelp are funds well spent! Tina Bow

2015 Loading Container to St. Kitts on Saturday June 20th

Dear All,

Thank you so much for your help and your donations, which have made it possible for us to send out 11 containers this year to 10 different countries. We don’t have a paid staff, so almost 100% of your donations go toward good causes. We want to thank you for believing in us, and for supporting us.

We will be collecting, packing and loading a container for St. Kitts on Saturday, 6/20 from 9 am to 11am. You can drop off any donations you might have at the same time. We need school supplies, toys, kids clothing, and kids backpacks. We welcome used items, as long as they are in good condition.
