2015 8/18 外交部頒贈外交之友貢獻奬給幫幫忙基金會

感謝愛心的社區人士, 僑界和商界的支持，幫幫忙在台灣接受外交部頒發的外交之友貢獻獎,感謝愛心捐贈者和義工們更是一路默默的付出與貢獻， 中華民國外交部頒贈外交之友貢獻奬給幫幫忙基金會，肯定協助推動國民外交的卓越貢獻，外交部長林永樂主持頒證儀式表示， 幫幫忙會結合旅美僑界愛心，於1998年開始募集物資救濟貧民，2000在洛杉磯創立該基金會，從事國際人道援助，十七年來捐贈兩百個貨櫃的民生物資予二十五餘國，並在薩爾瓦多，多明尼加，尼加拉瓜，巴拿馬等友邦設立老人照顧所與婦女和青年職訓學校等 今年幫幫忙基金會更应外交部邀請，合作推動台灣NGO送愛心的活動，於年內向僑界募集11個 貨櫃物資,迄8月底已完成捐運薩爾瓦多、尼加拉瓜、貝里斯、海地、多明尼加、聖露西亞、聖克里斯多福、巴拿馬、宏都拉斯、聖多美普林西比、史瓦濟蘭等12國愛心貨櫃.善行義舉深受有幫政府與民間肯定也感謝，林永樂強調幫幫忙基金會長年協助推動國際人道援助，凸顯中華民國作為國際人道援助提供者的角色，因此外交部特別頒贈外交之友貢獻奬，以表達對於幫幫忙基金會的肯定與感謝 幫幫忙基金會也感謝所有愛心捐助人士與義工们，希望社區商界僑界继续的支持 圖左國泰綜合醫院院長李發焜 圖中外交部林永樂 圖右幫幫忙基金長鮑潘曉黛

2015 8/1 loaded a container bound for South Africa.

On Saturday 8/1/2015 SimplyHelp loaded a large 40-foot container bound for South Africa. These donations will be distributed for the benefit of poor communities in that region. The donations included school supplies, clothing, shoes, housewares, bikes and assorted toys for children.
Many thanks to all our donors and volunteers who helped to make this the 14th container SimplyHelp has shipped this year!

Dear All,

We will be loading a container this-coming Saturday for South Africa.
You can drop off donations for the shipment if you have toys, school supplies or winter clothing, because it is winter there right now.
We will need volunteers to help out with the packing, too.

Expense Memo 2014

Dear All:

As a result of completing our 2014 Tax Return, SimplyHelp has been able to calculate our administrative costs as a percentage of our charitable donations. If we count only our cash donations, we are at 6% expenses to donations. If we add in the value of all the goods donated from merchants, our administrative cost drops to only 1%. This efficiency can be matched by very few, if any, other charitable foundations, and is possible only because of our dedicated volunteers working hard toward helping others, with no desire for monetary compensation.

All donations made specifically to our Senior Center program are 100% dedicated to that program, and are not reduced by administrative costs. The same applies to all Disaster Relief donations, and donations made to our Education fund.

You can be confident that your donations to SimplyHelp are funds well spent!

2015 Loading Container to St. Kitts on Saturday June 20th

Dear All,

Thank you so much for your help and your donations, which have made it possible for us to send out 11 containers this year to 10 different countries. We don’t have a paid staff, so almost 100% of your donations go toward good causes. We want to thank you for believing in us, and for supporting us.

We will be collecting, packing and loading a container for St. Kitts on Saturday, 6/20 from 9 am to 11am. You can drop off any donations you might have at the same time. We need school supplies, toys, kids clothing, and kids backpacks. We welcome used items, as long as they are in good condition.
